Safety Seal

The Safety Seal affirms that an establishment has been found compliant with the minimum public health standards. The new Quarantine Alert Levels being piloted in NCR adds 10% capacity to establishments with a Safety Seal.  This is free and can be applied for from the LGU, DOLE. DOT, PNP or DTI depending on the type of business establishment or organization. The types of business establishments listed below may apply for their Safety Seal with the City Government of Cagayan de Oro:

  • Malls
  • Wet markets
  • Other retail stores
  • Restaurants outside Hotels/Resorts
  • Fast food, Eateries, Coffeeshops, etc.
  • Banks, money changers, pawnshops, remittance centers
  • Car wash
  • Laundry service centers
  • Art galleries, libraries, museums, zoo
  • Sports centers
  • Tutorial, Testing, and Review Centers
  • Gyms
  • Spas
  • Cinemas
  • Arcades
  • All other private establishments
